Odell was born to Odell Beckham and Heather Van Norman. His father was a minor character in Buzz Bissinger’s Friday Night Lights: A Town, a Team, and a Dream. He also played running back at LSU from 1989 to 1992. Heather attended LSU as a track runner and is currently the coach of the Nicholls State University track and field team. Odell Jr. also has a younger brother, Kordell, and a younger sister, Jasmine.
