American professional ice hockey goaltender currently playing for the Vancouver Canucks NHL, Ryan Miller’s wife is the famous actress Noureen DeWulf.
About Ryan Miller
Ryan was drafted 138th overall by the Buffalo Sabres in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft. He won the Vezina Trophy as the league’s best goaltender in year 2010. He is known for his hybrid style of goaltending.
Miller was selected to play for the US in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver as the team’s starting goaltender. There he also won a silver medal with the team and was named most valuable player of the tournament.
Getting to know Noureen DeWulf
Noureen DeWulf real name is Noureen Ahmed. She was born in New York and raised in Georgia. Her parents are from Pune, India. Noureen got education from Boston University’s School of the Arts. One of DeWulf’s first roles was in the Oscar winning short West Bank Story (2005). She is most popularly known for her TV Series ‘Anger Management’ in which she starred along Charlie Sheen.
Her acting career
DeWulf started a career in acting in the Academy Award-winning short film West Bank Story. In the film, she played the lead role of Fatima, a singing and dancing Palestinian cashier who falls in love with an Israeli soldier.
Some of the popular movies in which Noureen has starred are Ocean’s Thirteen, and The Back-up Plan. She has also starred opposite Matthew McConaughey as Melanie, the present ghost in Ghosts of Girlfriends Past and played opposite Jeremy Piven in The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard.
In 2014, DeWulf won Best Actress at the Comedy Ninja Film and Screenplay Festival for her role of a murderous temp in the independent film Coffee, Kill Boss. She has also been ranked #93 in Maxim magazine’s “Hot 100” for the second time. Ryan is lucky we must say!
Recently, she joined the cast and currently stars in Hockey Wives, a reality series that follows wives and girlfriends of professional hockey players.
Noureen’s personal life
Noureen loves getting weekly massages. She says that it helps her re-align her body. As far as lifestyle is concerned, Noureen doesn’t like yoga and says that it’s boring. She is into the habit of juicing as an in-between-meals snack. Her go-to drink is a mix of cukes, kale, apple and other healthy stuff.
She says that she loves her heritage as a Muslim and as an Indian, it’s a part of who she is. She considers herself lucky that she hasn’t always got stereotypical roles and has got the opportunity to do a variety of roles.
DeWulf says that people are always interested in knowing how she grew up, to which she just answers, “I grew up a Muslim.”
Ryan And Noureen tied the wedding knots on September 3, 2011. They announced on September 11, 2014 that they were expecting their first child. They were blessed with a baby boy March 20, 2015 whom the couple named Bodhi Ryan Miller. He was born in Vancouver, British Columbia after 10 hours of labor.
