The Happy Couple
CleRenda and Tracy dated for ten long years before deciding to get married. The couple got married on September 12, 2006 in Mexico.
They have four children—daughters Layla Clarice and Laycee Aloe, and sons Laymen Lamar and Layden. The couple’s first son was born on December 27, 2005. We are telling you this because it happened during an 82–74 loss against the Utah Jazz. McGrady left during halftime in the match, remember?
Let’s know CleRenda McGrady
CleRenda has a Bachelors degree from North Carolina State University and a Master’s of Education from North Carolina Central University. Mrs. McGrady is a lovely woman.
You might also know her from her TV show “Thryv 360” which was a religious-tinged show about inspiring women to be strong in the Houston community. Or maybe not, because the show didn’t do very well and was off-air pretty quickly.
CleRenda also does a lot of charity and social work. She created a scholarship fund for women who want to go to Bible College. She has also put together charities where people sleep outside to raise money for kids. They raised over $4,000,000 for a youth homeless shelter.
Mrs. McGrady works as a host, speaker, and life coach as well. She shares her voice matters that she believes in. She encourages and challenges women to live beyond their limitations and reservations. CleRenda wants women to view themselves as beautiful, capable, and resilient.
She does all this by being the founder and CEO of Project PUSH! Through speaking, live events and coaching, she inspires and ignites women who are being called to a bigger vision and version of themselves.
CleRenda is often quoted saying, “when you shift the way you think, you change the way you live.”
Other Charitable work
CleRenda is also a part of “Inspire Women”. It is Houston’s largest faith based women’s ministry and organization. The organization serves and invests in scholarships, grants and resources for women to live out their purpose and potential.
In addition to all this, CleRenda has personally created and funded the “Aloa JoAnn Harris Scholarship Fund” as well. She did this in honor of her mother who served 42 years in ministry.
