American football linebacker for the Green Bay Packers of the NFL, Clay Matthews’s wife is Casey Noble. Matthews was a walk-on student athlete at the University of Southern California for the USC Trojans football team under head coach Pete Carroll. At USC, Matthews was a standout special teams player, winning three consecutive Special Teams Player of the Year awards from 2006 to 2008. He was also a part of three Pac-10 Championship teams in these roles.
How the Couple met and married
The pair was first seen in public hugging each other at an NHL game in March, 2013 when the San Jose Sharks met the Los Angeles Kings. They were spotted again at their hockey game by attending a charity event in May, 2013, and then later gave a courtside appearance at an Bulls/Bucks game in Milwaukee. The funny part here is that Casey was still married to Peter Sarantos, a Yale University graduate, at that time. And if these two were dating each other at that time, they would definitely avoided being seen in public together. Maybe Peter and Casey were already separated, except the official divorce.
After that, dating for a couple of years, the couple took their wedding vows in July, 2015. They welcomed their first child, a son Clay Matthews IV, in February 2015. The world got to know about Casey and Clay’s marriage at the most unimaginable place, in Clay’s Packers bio page where he mentioned Casey as his wife. Anyway, I think that was well enough update for a marriage announcement!
Getting to know Casey Noble
Casey was born on May 2, 1978 to Joy and Ron Noble. Yep, she is eight years older than her hubby, but as you all know, love knows no boundaries. Moreover, we think that eight years isn’t much of an age difference. Casey began her design career as a computer graphics artist in Washington, D.C. Later she moved to California and studied interior design at The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising. Casey pursued opportunities in the creative world of hospitality design. She continued her career at some of the top hospitality design firms, specializing in hotels, restaurants, bars and spas during this time period.
Casey then decided to become an entrepreneur and founded her own design firm in 2009 with two of her colleagues. Her design firm’s portfolio was pretty impressive too, covering the Borgata, SLS Miami and the Redbury, which were also listed as one of Conde Nast’s hot list hotels for 2011. Her success journey didn’t stop till there. She competed in season five of HGTV’s Design Star, where she made it to the top three. Later, she ended up getting job as a host on HGTV & Travel Channel. Her Twitter bio says – “Interior Designer & Host on HGTV & Travel Channel. And that’s all I can think of. (I may need a vacation.)”
Currently, she is the host of Design On a Dime, a decorating television series on HGTV. It features people who want their living space redesigned.
Where are they now?
The small and happy family currently lives in Green Bay.
